The AI Booth ("we", "us", "our") provides AI-powered customer communication tools for businesses. Our services allow businesses to deploy intelligent chat agents on Facebook Messenger to assist their customers.

2Information We Collect
When you interact with an AI agent powered by The AI Booth, we may collect the following information:
Information you provide directly
- Messages and text content you send to the AI agent
- Any personal information you choose to share during a conversation (such as your name, contact details, or enquiry details)
Information collected automatically
- Your Facebook Messenger sender ID (a unique identifier assigned by Facebook)
- The date and time of your messages
- The Facebook Page you contacted
- Message metadata provided by the Facebook Messenger Platform
3How We Use Your Information
- To provide AI responses — your messages are processed by an AI language model to generate helpful replies
- To maintain conversation context — we store recent messages to allow the AI to remember the context of your conversation
- To log interactions — conversation logs are stored to allow the business you contacted to review customer enquiries
- To improve our service — anonymised interaction data may be used to improve the quality of our AI agents
4AI Processing
Messages sent to our AI agents are processed using Anthropic's Claude AI model. Your messages are sent to Anthropic's API for processing in order to generate a response. Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to this processing and can be viewed at anthropic.com/privacy.
We do not use your conversations to train AI models.
5Data Storage
Conversation data is stored securely on servers located within the European Union. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
Conversation history is retained for up to 12 months, after which it is automatically deleted.
6Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With the business you contacted — the business operating the AI agent can view conversation logs as part of their customer service operations
- With AI processing providers — messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude API as described above
- With Facebook/Meta — interactions occur via the Facebook Messenger Platform and are subject to Meta's data policies
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights
7Facebook Messenger Platform
Our AI agents operate through the Facebook Messenger Platform. Your use of Facebook Messenger is also governed by Meta's Data Policy and Terms of Service. We recommend reviewing Meta's privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
We only receive the information that Facebook makes available to us through the Messenger Platform API, in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms.
8Facebook Page Connection — Business Clients
If you are a business client using The AI Booth portal, you may connect your Facebook Page to our service using Facebook Login. This section explains exactly what we access, what we do not access, and how to revoke access at any time.
What we access when you connect your Facebook Page
- Your Facebook Page name and Page ID — used to identify which page your AI agent is connected to
- A Page Access Token — a secure key issued by Facebook that allows our system to send and receive messages on your page's behalf. This is stored securely in our database and never shared with third parties.
- Your list of managed pages — only used at the moment of connection to let you choose which page to connect. We do not store or access this list after setup is complete.
What we do NOT access
- Your personal Facebook profile information (photos, posts, personal timeline)
- Your Facebook friends list or personal connections
- Any personal messages sent to your personal Facebook account
- Any data beyond what is needed to operate the AI agent on your page
How the access is used
- To allow your AI agent to read and reply to Facebook Messenger messages sent to your page
- To allow your AI agent to post replies to comments on your page's posts
- For no other purpose — we will never post to your page unprompted or access your page for any reason other than responding to customer messages and comments
How to revoke access
You can disconnect your Facebook Page at any time in two ways:
- Via the portal — go to your Account tab and click "Disconnect" next to your connected page
- Via Facebook directly — go to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites → find "The AI Booth" and remove it
Upon disconnection, your Page Access Token is immediately deleted from our systems and the AI agent will stop responding to messages on your page.
9Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — you can request deletion of your personal data
- Right to restriction — you can ask us to restrict processing of your data
- Right to data portability — you can request your data in a portable format
- Right to object — you can object to certain types of processing

10Cookies
Our AI agents operate within Facebook Messenger and do not directly set cookies. Our web portal uses browser session storage solely to maintain your login session for performance and security purposes. No tracking cookies are used.
11Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
